Harrison hates doing interviews because he gets nervous (he's mentioned that many times as to why he doesn't do "holywood" or sci-fi conventions). He probably had a couple of shots in his system.

He's always been a little strange in interviews.

There was no Brokeback break on my feed. Conan asked him if he found the fight scenes with young men a little erotic, and Harrison said yes. Then he went on to say that it was "horse shit" that he is known as a grumpy man. Maybe your station cut this out because of broadcast censorship laws in the US.

Generally, I think Harrison was trying to be funny. But the interview was different for sure.

I think that the brokeback cut-in was done by LNWCOB on purpose a lá walker, texas ranger. but I totally agree -Harrisson was INSANE! and it was a little choppy.I'm glad someone else noticed as well

Did anyone see this interview last night? The subject matter and what he said was weird enough, but he kept massaging the armrests compulsively, like he was on excstacy. And it was cut all weird for the broadcast out here on the west coast, with what looked like a lot of stuff missing. And right when they were talking about HF doing fight scenes with good looking men half his age ang getting aroused, an ad for Brokeback Mountain (of all things) interrupts them for a few seconds then it goes instantly back to the still-in-progress interview. Strange.
